Redefining Mentoring

I loved being able to facilitate the Mentoring Basics breakout sessions during the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees (NBCFAE) Annual Training Conference in Baltimore, MD! It was an extraordinary learning experience which helped employees better understand the roles and responsibilities of mentors and mentees as well as engage them in a quick speed mentoring encounter!

The participants left with a redefined perspective on mentoring that builds a sustainable and learning-focused partnership. The new perspective removes hierarchy which is often found in traditional mentoring relationships. Concerning Learning helps organizations create opportunities for mentoring partnerships that build reciprocal relationships where everyone learns and everyone shares.
